A hands-on workshop on the integration of SOURCE in Ukraine has taken place

Today a hands-on workshop on the integration of SOURCE in Ukraine was conducted. 

The event is a part of the first phase of SOURCE integration for the enhancement of technical capacity in Ukraine for the development and implementation of PPP projects. It was organized by the Ministry for Development of Economy, Trade and Agriculture of Ukraine, in collaboration with the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), the Sustainable Infrastructure Foundation (SIF), PPP Agency and PPP management office SPILNO, an independent advisory body to the Ministry of Infrastructure of Ukraine.

SOURCE is the multilateral platform for sustainable infrastructure, led and funded by Multilateral Development Banks (MDBs). The platform is currently used in 78 countries and it is freely accessible for emerging countries.

SOURCE is a multifunctional software. Its functions include:

This hands-on workshop was designed to help participants deepen their understanding of the functionality of the SOURCE platform, adapted to the Ukrainian context. The participants have learned how to add projects of different varieties to the platform, categorize them, indicate the stage of their implementation, assign tasks to project team members, download documents and, in general, manage projects at all stages of their life cycle.

During the workshop, the attendees had an opportunity to get acquainted with the variety of instruments supported by the platform. A number of internationally recognised knowledge products are integrated into SOURCE, including the PFRAM tool, GIH PPP risk allocation matrix, World Bank’s Guidance on PPP Contractual Provisions and UNEP FI Positive Finance.
